Very bright and clear

Bought these as deck lights for my boat. It's a 16-foot springbok with a casting deck I built in the back and I placed these lights facing outwards onto the deck. They are very bright and easily light up a good 3-5 feet of deck space. The only thing I'll note is that they don't have a guard (although from the pics it looks like they do) in order to focus the light on the ground. They are more or less a direct light so I am going to put a small piece of electoral tape over the top half of the light the keep it from shining in my eyes.

I'd say these are very good for lighting the deck, but not ideal if you're looking for soft glow accent lighting for mood lighting on your boat.
