MARINE-GRADE WIRE HOLE COVER: This Clamshell Vent Cover is designed for durability and functionality. It is made of 316 Stainless Steel for resistance to corrosion and high temperatures.
MARINE WIRE COVER MEASUREMENTS: The boat wire cover opening measures 1-Inch (25.4mm) H x 2-1/2-Inch (64mm) W, The base measures 3-11/16-Inch (94mm) L x 3-7/16-Inch W (87mm). Will cover a hole up to 2-3/16-Inch(56mm) diameter.
BOAT COVER VENT CAP APPLICATION: Depending on the size, location, and mounting position, clamshell vents work well covering cable pass-through holes, to shield compartment vent holes and blower exhaust openings.
BOAT COVER VENT EASY-INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL: Clamshell vent one piece design for easy installation, it can be screwed directly on to hull or superstructure horizontally or vertically. Mounts using #4 screws (not included).
MARINE CABLE COVER RECOMMENDATION: Using a marine-grade exterior sealant should provide a secure and waterproof installation for your clamshell vent cover.
