Hello, I purchased these lights twice, first I installed 2 on the transom and they preformed very well for 1 year so the followng year when I hauled out, I purchased 2 more for a total of 4 on the transom of the boat. Within the next year, both of the original lights failed, the following season the second set failed. The nut on the back of the housing is the source of the failure for any boats that stay in the water year round. (see pic).

Great underwater lights. Easy to install, best value for a quality light. I was worried that they wouldn't be bright enough, being the competitors are 5 times the cost and 3 times the lumens. The water in my area is murky and not at all clear. The Five oceans lights do a great job! I highly recommend buying these lights.
