Works great!!

Using for window nets on a YXZ 1000R for quick release. Works great!!!

Okay but not for marine

They're okay but not up to US standards. Fit is sloppy so function isn't smooth. I use for holding up sun shades on the patio as quick-release in case of gusty winds. They're okay for that but I wouldn't trust in a sailing enviro.

Pin's pull ring is not welded

Nice looking piece of hardware and a good price but I would not recommend using this for an actual "load" situation. The ring that is attached to the release pin is a standard key ring and if you pull on this with any kind of force (which is not needed but often unintentionally done when the shackle needs to be opened quickly) the key ring distorts and stretches permanently. This could create a very dangerous situation if the key ring popped all the way off making the shackle not open at all. If you are looking for a snap shackle to use under actual loaded conditions look elsewhere for one that has a welded ring that will not fail.
